What Is a Deshedding Tool?

A deshedding Tool is a professional grooming tool specifically designed to efficiently and safely remove loose, dead hair and excess down from the undercoat of pets (mainly dogs and cats).

It's not shaving, it's combing. The "shed" in "deshedding" refers to the natural shedding of dead hair by dogs (especially during shedding season). The purpose of a deshedding comb is to "speed up and complete this natural process" by removing loose but still-trapped dead hair from the fur, rather than cutting or shaving healthy hair.

Material: Mostly stainless steel, ensuring sharp, durable, rust-resistant, and easy-to-clean bristles.
